Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Artist's Description

Some may ask, "a male Queen?". ‘Queen’ is simply the name of this species of butterfly, and there are both male and female Queen butterflies. Queen butterflies are cousins of popular Monarch butterflies. Both use milkweed as host plants. Like Monarchs, male Queens have a black spot on each hindwing. These black dots are pheromone scales. Although Monarch butterflies do not use pheromones during courtship and mating, Queen butterflies do use pheromones. I find some symbolism in this image with the juxtaposition of the fresh new butterfly against the spent, deteriorating zinnias.

About Nancy Denmark

Nancy Denmark

Following a full time career as a self employed jewelry artist, I've moved into a semi-retired mode to make room for other things in life, like butterfly gardening. I'm rarely outside without a camera, as capturing "in the moment" nature photos is part of my garden experience. My photographs have become my teaching tools, and often inspire others to plant for pollinators. My image descriptions might often include informative text about the subject matter, as I enjoy teaching others how to attract a wide diversity of butterfly species to their own yard. My close up photography has taught me so much about my subjects, as it brings me closer to things I can't observe with my naked eye. Photography has always been another creative outlet for...
